for 1937, 27 3/4in. sleeved nitro barrels (in 1970, loose, some dents), 2 1/2in. chambers, bored approx. full choke in both, automatic safety with engraved 'SAFE' detail, border engraving, 14 1/2in. replacement stock (loose) including buttplate;

circa 1896, 30in. nitro reproved damascus barrels (in 1957), the rib engraved 'H.C. HOLMES (LATE W.S. RILEY). BIRMINGHAM. LONDON.', and with acanthus scroll detailing at the breech-end, 2 1/2in. chambers, bored approx. 1/4 and 3/4 choke, scoop-backed treble-grip action, automatic safety with engraved 'SAFE' detail, fine border, acanthus scroll and floral bouquet engraving, 14 1/2in. figured stock (smashed through and pinned at head), including buttplate, bolstered fore-end (2)
