* AN UNUSUAL CASED .30 (RIMFIRE) SEVEN-SHOT SOLID-FRAME POCKET REVOLVER, UNSIGNED, no visible serial number,
possibly by Webley circa 1865, loosely in the style of a Smith & Wesson 1 1/2, with tapering octagonal 3 1/4in. barrel, nickel crescent fore-sight, Birmingham proofs, solid frame, the cylinder locking catch inlet into the top-strap as Smith & Wesson and operated by the hammer nose, plain cylinder removing for loading, spur trigger and smooth walnut grips, much finish remaining and in a period mahogany case lined and compartmented in blue baize, complete with two cleaning rods and a lidded compartment for ammunition
