circa 1964, with blued 17 1/4in. barrel, dove-tailed block and blade fore-sight, elevating rear-sight, blued air-chamber marked 'FALCON' over 'WEBLEY & SCOTT LTD. BIRMINGHAM, MADE IN ENGLAND' (traces of paint fill) forwards of the applied parallel telescopic sight rail, plain trigger unit, plain beech half-stock without provision for the earlier stock medallion, generally collector's external condition
Provenance: Webley & Scott Falcons are really quite scarce, especially when considered they were made for a youth market. With an estimated production total of around 10,000 rifles made over the 10 years or so of production between 1960-70, they are quite difficult to find in good condition
