Arld of Nurnberg and dated 1939, black leather belt unit marked 'BAXII16', black leather frog dated 1941 with faint marker-mark, and K98k Mauser bayonet with 10 in. blade, ricasso dated 1942 and marked with 'clc' [code for Richard Abr.Herder] and numbered '3228 / n' over, Bakelite grips, pommel with Waffenamt stamps together with its steel scabbard with matching numbers; heavy service wear, stitching solid, bayonet blade with almost complete bluing, grip back with stippled denting, some rust patches to the pommel, scabbard lacking finish and with rusting
