A RARE ROYAL NAVY PATTERN 1888 BOARDING PIKE, dated 1897, 3-sided triangular spike, the langets marked '2G / /I\ / EFD / N / inspection mark / '97' with '15' over, langets with three screw rivets each, stave a probable replacement as there is no shoe and the overall length is 101 1/2 in. whereas it should measure 91 in.
