A RARE PATTERN 1907 ENFIELD BAYONET WITH HOOKED QUILLION,
dated for May 1908, with 17in. brushed bright blade of typical form with broad machined fullers, blued ricasso with 'EFD' and date, the reverse with ordnance marks and an additional lightly etched number 'BD9566' at the beginning of the fuller, blued cross-guard with muzzle ring and hooked quillion, walnut scales, the pommel stamped 'IF' over 'R609', complete with a 1908 dated leather scabbard with iron throat and button tip (both shallow pitted)
