BIRMINGHAM.', 2 1/2in. chambers, bored approx. 1/4 and 1/2 choke, treble-grip action incorporating Tolley slide cocking patent 10,303 of 1886, use number 1105, characteristic toplever bolting automatic safety inlaid 'SAFE', back-action sidelocks, beaded border and acanthus scroll engraving, the makers name and 'SAFETY BLOCK' in scrolling banners, 14 1/4in. stock with engraved steel heel and toe plates, chequering with ornate bordering, weight 6lb. 11oz.
