circa 1730, probably Belgian or German, with squared body with integral squared pan and lozenge-shaped frizzen, trap to the left side for tinder, side-mounted cock with circular jaws and exposed mainspring, trigger and sear-spring, simple iron bipod feet, candle holder and walnut grip inlet with wire scrolls and terminating in a semi-spherical pommel
