for between 1955-57, with blued 18 1/2in. barrel, dove-tailed fore-sight, elevating rear-sight, plain air-chamber etched with 'THE BIRMINGHAM SMALL ARMS CO. LTD.' over 'CADET MAJOR .177 AIR RIFLE' and 'MADE IN ENGLAND' along with the piled arms trade mark (etching slightly faded but fully legible), trigger unit with weight adjuster, beech half-stock, slight marks to wood but generally collector's external condition
