CAL. 300 WIN. MAG.' the rear engraved 'WILLIAM EVANS LTD. LONDON.', flat matt top receiver ring (two plugs), the receiver, nocks form and bolt handle with fine border engraving, the bolt knob with chequered oval panels and central floral motif, floral engraved recoil blocks, hinged floorplate with push button release, engraved at the top with the William Evans monogram in a roundel, below, a relief-engraved and gold-inlaid image of an 11 tine 'Royal' stag and gold-inlaid with the calibre designation, 'M.A. Hunt' signature, the triggerguard gold-inlaid with the serial number, highly-figured pistolgrip stock with cheekpiece, steel pistolgrip-cap with floral centre-cap, sling eyes, horn finial, 14 1/8in. pull including 1in. recoil pad, weight 8lb. 4oz., (unscoped) and 9lb. 15oz.
