circa 1900, with octagonal 26 3/4in. barrel signed at the breech, tunnel fore-sight, standing notch rear-sight with additional folding blade, plain central hammer action with side-lever opening (mild pitting), walnut straight-hand butt-stock chequered at the wrist and with ribbed heel and chequered walnut splinter fore-end
