circa 1620, with a fine 20 1/4in. expertly repolished blade with a prominent gunome hamon extending around the kissaki, delicately carved and pierced iron tsuba of muromachi era style, leather over rayskin wrapping with shakudo fittings, in a textured black lacquered saya with a shakudo-bladed kodsuka decorated with a gold sake cup, the kojiri also in shakudo, with a letter of authenticity
