THREE ITEMS OF WORLD WAR I TRENCH ART, being 1) an 18 Pdr shell case with fuze dated 1916 engraved with an Army Service Corps badge above a plaque marked 'No. 506 Martell, T. H.' and 'Made Arras April 1917', plus listing the battles fought in and dates 1914-15 1916-17, on the opposite side are engraved flowers and the flags of Britain and France, the base of the shell marked 'E. Lansfield 501 1917, 9 1/2 in tall; 2) a brass trivet engraved with the scene of a young woman in bed writing a letter with her maid carrying a breakfast tray behind, 9 3/4 in x 8 in.; 3) a matchbox holder engraved '1919' to one side and 'France' opposite, mounted on a 1940 dated .303 case, 5 1/4 in overall (3)
