Other Notes: Based upon the proven No.4 design, the No.4 Mk.IV has been significantly strengthened in order to withstand the higher pressures of many modern cartridges. Improvements have also been made to overcome original shortcomings of the design. These include a deepened and strengthened receiver bolt track negating chipping of the bolt track leads caused by constant disassembly.
The receiver is CNC milled from 4150 steel.
Shorter 60 degree bolt throw (versus 90 degree throw on many other commercial rifles)
Removable double stack steel magazine box with 10 round capacity.
All rifles will be stocked in teak furniture as standard. Though slightly heavier than walnut, teak offers far superior strength.
Fitted with Mk.2 No.4 style rear sight. Front sights are post type and are adjustable for both elevation and windage.
