circa 1890, 30in. sleeved nitro barrels (in 2013), the rib re-engraved 'E. FRASER & CO 4 LEITH ST. TERRACE EDINBURGH' (sic) with acanthus scroll detailing and further acanthus detailing to the breech ends of the tubes, 2 3/4in. chambers, Briley multichokes (no spares), early treble-grip flat-back action with carved fences, removable striker discs, intercepting sears, slender toplever, automatic safety with brass 'SAFE' inlay, fine acanthus scroll engraving with ornate bordering surrounding game scene vignettes of hound and fowl, the action sides with 'D. FRASER & CO.' in scrolling banners, the triggerguard with a further hound, the top-strap with a lone pigeon, 15 1/4in. replacement stock with Prince of Wales grip and horn grip-cap, small knot at hand, the fore-end with matching replacement fore-end wood and grip-catch release lever, weight 6lb. 14oz.
