FOUR 20th CENTURY SHORT EDGED WEAPONS, being 1) Arabic jambiya, with 6 in. slightly curved double-edged blade with central spine, decorative gold-painted nickelled handle and wooden scabbard, 10 in. overall length; 2) an Indian sub-continent kukri, 15 in, plated blade of typical form, wooden grip leather-covered wooden scabbard with two small knives in pouches on the back, worn, blades with rust patches, pommel damaged, 20 in. overall; 3) early 20th Century Yemeni jambiya, 11 in. curved steel blade, brass collar, decorated wooden hilt with brass covered pommel, decorated brass scabbard, 17 in. length; 4) Indian sub-continent short-sword, with 11 in. single-edged decorated blade, wooden hilt and scabbard with impressed decoration on white metal plated covering, 20 in. overall length (4)
