A PRUSSIAN/IMPERIAL GERMANY COURT SWORD, circa late 19th Century, with 31 1/2 in. single-edged bladed fullered on each side etched on both sides with foliate scroll-work, coat-of-arms and cypher to one side with martial drum and stand of arms over, also etched along the back, cast guilded hilt with downturned shell guard with the Imperial Eagle surmounted with crown, cross-guard with acorn finial, knuckle-guard, eagle-head pommel, mother-of-pearl inlaid grip, together with its black leather scabbard with brass fittings, blade with developing pitting and staining, guilding fading, scabbard worn with a crude taped repair, 37 1/4 in. overall length
