circa 1890, 27 1/4in. nitro reproved bold etched damascus barrels, wave cut rib with banner engraved 'GRAHAM GRAHAM & CO. TROWSE. NORFOLK.', 2 1/2in. chambers, bored approx. bored approx. 1/4 choke in both, left wall at 18, some pitting, treble-grip action with unusually carved fences, slender toplever engraved with a crane, manual safety with gold-inlaid 'SAFE' detail, border and scroll engraving surrounding game scene vignettes of foraging fowl, the floorplate with a floral bouquet, 14 5/8in. pistolgrip stock with domed fluted pistolgrip-cap, bolstered fore-end wood, weight 5lb. 7oz., in a brass-cornered leather case
Other Notes: Graham Graham & Co. were manufacturers of pheasant and game food, patronised by the Royal household in the late 19th century. They also supplied coops, ornamental aviaries, troughs, enclosures and kennels
