circa 1840, unsigned, with 4 3/4in. six-shot barrel group with false ribbing, rear-mounted nipples, rounded iron open scroll engraved frame with saw-handle projection to rear and flat top, the right side with cut-out for capping, ring trigger operating an under-hammer and smooth flared walnut grips, some bruising and frosting to barrel but strong traces of finish and colour
