circa 1860, the revolver of Lefaucheux style with in the white round 6 1/4in. barrel, applied full-length sighting-rib with wishbone top-strap, blade fore-sight, standing notch rear-sight, the underside of barrel with vertical bar mound for the signed folding bayonet, borderline and scroll engraved stepped frame, borderline and scroll engraved six-shot cylinder with external ratchet locking, loading gate to the pin-shield, double action mechanism with spurred hammer and guarded trigger and semi saw-handled chequered walnut grips with lanyard ring to the faceted grip-cap
