circa 1860, with blued octagonal 4 5/16in. barrel, the top-flat signed 'CLOUGH & SON, 9 NEW BOND ST. BATH', engraved band and scrolls at muzzle, engraved scrolls to top side-flats at breech, border and foliate engraving to the solid top-strap, borderline and scroll engraved two-part frame held via a wedge, plain five-shot cylinder with scroll engraved panels over each chamber and borderlines to the leading edge, double action mechanism with spurred hammer, chequered walnut grips and articulated under-barrel rammer, strong traces of finish remaining
