A CASED PAIR OF 20-BORE PERCUSSION RIFLED TRAVELLING PISTOLS, UNSIGNED, no visible serial numbers, 
 circa 1845, with variegated damascus 6in. octagonal barrels, bead fore-sights and shallow standing notch rear-sights, borderline and foliate engraved back-action locks, en-suite hammers, walnut half-stocks with chequered bag-shaped grips, each fitted witH a trap at heel with 'skull-cracker' lid, nickel furniture and under-barrel ramrods, in a converted late Georgian instrument case adapted for these pistols and containing a number of unassociated accessories
