T. / 1371' (King Willam's Town Arsenal number), falling block action, receiver with Crown over 'V. R. / B.S.A. & M.Co. / 1886 / Lock-viewer's Mark / III / I', with further proof, inspection and 'Sold out of Service' marks, bridge marked 'S . X' (Strengthened Extractor) and 'C /I\ G' Cape Government ownership mark, full stock, butt with crisp 'BA&ACo. / BIRMINGHAM' roundel above 'III / I' with 'Sold out of Service' mark, furniture with Birmingham inspection and Broad Arrow with 'WD' marks, complete with sling swivels and clearing rod
