A CASED PAIR OF 54-BORE PERCUSSION BOXLOCK POCKET PISTOLS, UNSIGNED, no visible serial numbers, circa 1830s conversions of circa 1810 flintlocks, with 2 1/2 in. turn-off barrels, Birmingham proof-marks, border and scroll-engraved locks, dolphin hammers, slab-sided bag grips with blank white metal diamond wrist escutcheons, worn with some pitting to the barrels, overall lengths 6 3/4 in., in a diagonally divided case lined in green baize with a blank lid escutcheon, no key, external measurements 8 in. x 1 3/4 in. x 6 1/4 in.
