MORTIMER, LONDON' surrounded by an engraved borderline and terminating in a teardrop, London proofs, solid top-tang with engraved and pointed tail, borderline engraved bevel-edged locks signed 'H.W. MORTIMER' below the pans, swan-necked cocks with bolted safes, walnut full-stocks with bag-shaped grips, brass furniture with trophy engraving to the trigger guard bows and sunbursts to the 'S' shaped sideplates and horn-tipped wood ramrods
