VULCAN STEEL.', 2 1/2in. chambers, bored approx. full choke in both, action flats marked 'PAT'D. JAN. 18. AUG. 15, 1887. PAT'D. OCT. 25, 1910. PAT'D. AUG, 15, 1905.', hold-open toplever, automatic safety with engraved 'SAFE' detail, plain action with zig-zag bordering, signed 'PARKER BROS.' patinated finish with very slight traces of colour-hardening and finish in sheltered areas, 14 1/4in. pistolgrip stock including trademark pistolgrip cap and buttplate, fore-end with Deeley and Edge type release catch marked 'PATD. MAR. 26. 1878.', weight 7lb. 11oz.
