* A WORLD WAR I OTTOMAN TURKISH INFANTRY OFFICER'S SWORD, circa early 20th Century, with 31 1/2 in. single-edged slightly curved blade fullered and etched on each side, one side with the legend 'INIKITITS ERREN CONSTANTINOPEL'; brass hilt, wire-bound fishskin grip and lion-head pommel, steel scabbard with two suspension rings, heavily worn, blade rubbed with blinded pitting, wire binding to grip loose with losses, pommel holed through the lion's forehead, scabbard rusted and dented
