A WORLD WAR I GEORGE V PATTERN 1899 INFANTRY OFFICER'S SWORD, with 32 1/2 in. etched blade, ricasso with stamped 'PROVED' mark and ' C. BOYTON / & / SON / CLERKENWELL / EC' over, pierced guard with royal cypher, wire-bound grip, with its brown leather field scabbard, worn, blade stained, guard stained with blinded pitting, fish-skin absent from grip, scabbard splitting
