circa 1915, with blued octagonal 26in. barrel, the top right side flat signed 'WEBLEY & SCOTT', the left '78 SHAFTESBURY AVENUE LONDON & BIRMINGHAM', bead fore-sight with folding ring protector, twin folding leaf rear-sight, the top-flat behind the rear-sight machine matted and also for the last 5in. at muzzle, automatic ejector, border and scroll engraved colour hardened top-lever hammerless action with shallow carved and engraved fences, chequered tang safety, the wrist behind tang inlet for a peep-sight (absent), chequered walnut pistol-grip butt-stock with raised tear-drop cheek-piece and ribbed heel, engraved and colour hardened domed pistol-grip cap and chequered walnut splinter snap-on fore-end with horn tip, much original finish remaining
