circa 1937, with sighted detachable 25 1/2in. barrel, rotating bolt barrel-lock, folding 'H' frame peep-sight to rear of receiver, push-button barrel release to the barrel cradle, plain air chamber stamped with the model details to the left side and five lines of patents to the right, trigger unit with manufacturer's details and no provision for safety catch, chequered walnut semi pistol-grip saw-handled butt-stock and no provision for fore-end, fair traces of original finish remaining
