circa 1853, with blued octagonal 6 3/8in. barrel, dove-tailed fore-sight, borderline and scroll engraved frame, the solid top-strap signed 'JOSEPH BRAZIER & SON, WOLVERHAMPTON' and with notch rear-sight to rear, double-action mechanism with spurless hammer, plain five-shot cylinder (traces of colour) and with engraved band to leading edge, chequered walnut grip with shallow domed and engraved butt-cap with central trap, no provision for rammer, much finish remaining and complete with an oak storage case lined and compartmented in green velvet (possibly a good reproduction) and including a mould marked 'ADAM'S PATENT', a cleaning/loading rod, bag-shaped flask, cap tin, oil bottle, nipple key and turn-screw, the inside of lid with a reproduction parchment R.
