A 20-BORE FLINTLOCK BRASS-BARRELLED BLUNDERBUSS WITH SPRUNG BAYONET, POSSIBLY SIGNED FOR HENRY NOCK, no visible serial number,
circa 1780, with 14in. triple-staged banded cannon barrel, triangular cross-section bayonet released by a catch at the tang to top of barrel and concealing the script signature 'LONDON', flat bevel edged lock with scroll engraving (rubbed) and stepped tail, the inside of lock with 'NOCK LONDON' signature (possibly spurious), walnut hand-rail full-stock with wire scroll inlays forming an apron around the top-tang, brass furniture including acorn finial and bone-tipped wood ramrod
