A .800 PERCUSSION SCRATCH-BUILT SMOOTHBORE MUSKET, UNSIGNED, no visible serial number, crudely constructed from poor quality circa 1840s parts and a few modern scratch pieces, with 33 1/2 in. sighted barrel, plain border-engraved lock, heavily worn throughout, hammer constructed from two broken parts, stock cracked, with much glue and filler in evidence, probably a north African tourist piece
