COLT NEW-YORK U.S. AMERICA', nickel fore-sight, open iron frame marked 'COLTS PATENT', stepped six-shot cylinder (roll engraved scene virtually lost), brass grip-straps, smooth flared walnut grip with traces of martial cartouches to both sides at heel and creeping under-barrel rammer, all matching numbers including wedge and together with a later reproduction shoulder-stock for same
