circa 1880, with 19 1/4in. tapering barrel section including detachable nose-cap, diminutive open sights, tap handle and aperture at breech, cocking keyway and concealed trigger to body and mating to a straight 17in. reservoir signed on the valve-face and with black horn bun pommel, the exterior retaining the majority of its original imitation malacca painted finish and together with its stirrup pump, the body signed 'W. WATSON & SON, 313 HIGH HOLBORN, LONDON'
