circa 1870, with 36 1/2in. barrel, block and blade fore-sight, elevating ladder rear-sight, commercial London proofs at breech and also stamped 'L.A.C.', flip-open breech with sprung thumb-catch and signed 'LONDON ARMOURY' together with a large numeral '3' and 'SNIDER PATENT' around an arrow device, plain bar-action lock signed in an oval 'JAS. KERR & CO., 54 KING WILLIAM ST. EC.' below ''L.A.C.', the tail of lock with crown and 'V.R.' device, chained pin protector, chequered walnut full-stock with 'Kerr' roundel to butt and brass furniture except for three iron barrel-bands, missing clearing rod
