circa 1840, with browned octagonal 8in. sighted barrel (rifled for belted ball) signed on the top flat 'W WESTON BRIGHTON' (rubbed), scroll engraved breech and tang with notched rear sight, border and scroll engraved bar-action lock signed 'WESTON' with white metal inlay to the tail and engraved dolphin hammer, walnut full stock with swept and finely chequered grip, engraved iron grip-cap with central trap, iron furniture and captive iron ramrod
