circa 1885, with plated (possibly silver) 2in. octagonal barrel, crescent fore-sight, no provision for rear-sight, solid plated frame with border engraving, the top-strap marked 'VELO-DOG', long border and scroll engraved plated cylinder, hammerless action (slightly at fault) with folding trigger and smooth mother of pearl grips, much finish remaining
