* A RARE 6.5mm (BERGMANN) MODEL 1896 No.3 PISTOL SIGNED V.C. SCHILLING, SUHL, serial no. 581/278,
circa 1897, with tapering narrow re-blued 4 1/2in. barrel, raised block at muzzle with dove-tailed mounted fore-sight blade, early type bolt without extractor and fitted with an integral dust-cover, notch rear-sight and knurled thumb-piece to rear, blued receiver and frame (finish worn and faded), the frame numbered '518' and marked 'PATENT, BREVETE, S.G.D.G' on the left and stamped with the trademark for V.C. Schilling, Gaggenau on the right, sprung trapdoor on the right hand side for clip-loading, exposed hammer, chequered walnut grips and lanyard loop at heel, together with a tin-plate stripper-clip for same
