AN ARNO-ENGRAVED 20-BORE 'MOD. 201-E' DOUBLE-TRIGGER OVER AND UNDER EJECTOR, serial no. 86961,
for 1973, 26 3/4in. (68cm) nitro reproved barrels (in 2026) with 8mm solid raised matt top-rib, 2 3/4in. chambers, bored approx. imp. cyl. and 1/4 choke, three-piece fore-end, scroll-back treble-grip action with side-bolsters, hold-open toplever, manual safety, side-mounted gold pin cocking-indicator, articulated front trigger, the action and furniture finely carved in high relief with scrolling acanthus and foliate motifs on a finely matted background, surrounding ornately framed game scene vignettes of pheasant, partridge and duck in their naturalistic habitats, the fowl relief engraved and gold-inlaid, the left side signed 'ARNO', the triggerguard with a vacant shield-shaped escutcheon, 14 5/8in. well-figured stock (scuffed at toe), weight 6lb. 5oz.
