both circa 1815, the first with 1 1/2in. round 48-bore turn-off barrel (frozen), trophy engraved squared action, the left side signed 'JOVER' within a oval panel and 'LONDON' on the right, Birmingham proofs to the underside, central ring-necked cock, border engraved top tang, slab sided walnut grip and guarded trigger; the second signed 'WHEELER' and with round 1 3/4in. 50-bore turn-off barrel engraved at muzzle, trophy engraved squared action, left side engraved 'WHEELER & SON' within a oval panel and 'BIRMINGHAM' to the right, rain-proof pan, central ring-neck cock with push forward safety, slab sided walnut grip, diamond shape white metal escutcheon engraved 'A HARRISON OFFICER' above a shield to wrist, concealed automatic trigger, Birmingham proofs
