A PIPE-CASED 6mm PINFIRE DELUXE SILVER-PLATED PURSE-REVOLVER, no visible serial number,
Belgian circa 1870, with silver plated octagonal 2 1/4in. barrel, bead fore-sight, engraved arabesques to the top-flat and to the top side-flats at throat, broad band of floral engraving to the plated six-shot cylinder, en-suite engraving to the open plated frame, double action mechanism with folding trigger and spurred hammer, heavily florally embossed gutta-percha grips and plunge ejector, much plated finish remaining, in a period walnut 'pipe' casing lined in blue velvet and with an escutcheon to the lid monogrammed 'R.M.'
