A .380 (RIMFIRE) REMINGTON CONVERTED NEW MODEL POLICE REVOLVER, serial no. 152,
circa 1870 and converted by the factory from percussion, with nickel-plated octagonal 3 1/2in. barrel signed by the maker on the top-flat, solid plated frame with sighting groove to the top-strap, five shot cylinder with detachable back-plate for loading, single action mechanism, plated brass trigger guard, smooth walnut grips and hinged partial rammer below the barrel (plunger section removed at conversion), fair amount of finish remaining
