circa 1880, with blued 3 1/2in. barrel, raised ramp sighting rib with nickel crescent fore-sight blade, swing-out cylinder-arbor stored ejector-rod, blued solid frame, the top-strap with sighting groove and marked 'J. BRADDELL & SON, BELFAST', plain six-shot cylinder with ratchet locking at rear, side loading gate, double action mechanism (trigger return spring at fault), chequered walnut grip and lanyard ring at heel, strong amount of finish remaining
