circa 1888, with blued ovoid 4 1/2in. barrel, crescent fore-sight, sighting groove to the top-strap, the sides marked 'ARMY & NAVY' and 'C.S.L.', blued solid frame marked on the barrel mount in an ellipse 'WEBLEYS R.I.C. No.1 .455' above 'NEW MODEL', blued six-shot fluted cylinder, gate loading, ejector rod with acorn finial, double action mechanism with guarded trigger and spurred hammer, chequered walnut grip, lanyard swivel at heel, the whole retaining much original finish
