LONDON. 1885.', and with acanthus scroll detailing at the breech-end, 2 1/2in. chambers, bored approx. true cyl. and full choke, treble-grip action, removable striker discs, toplever engraved '1', automatic safety with gold-inlaid 'SAFE' detail, intercepting sears, acanthus scroll engraving with floral motifs, the makers name in a scrolling banner, brushed bright and reblued finish overall, 14 1/4in. replacement stock, bolstered fore-end, weight 6lb. 8oz.
