A GOOD CASED .41 (COLT) ARMY SPECIAL COLT REVOLVER serial no. 454159, with a period holster,
for 1920, with blued 4in. barrel signed by the maker on two lines with patent dates to 1905, crescent fore-sight, sighting groove to the top-strap, blued solid frame with fluted swing-out six-shot cylinder, blued trigger, polished sides to the hammer, chequered hard rubber grips, virtually all finish remaining and in its period black leatherette covered case compartmented in the Continental style in blue velveteen, with a certificate of proof, a Colt heritage letter, original advertising papers, tags, handbook and a period leather holster signed H.H. Heiser, Colorado
Provenance: The factory letter accompanying this lot states that the revolver was actually shipped to Moore-Handley Hardware Co. Alabama on July 28th, 1922
