circa 1972, 27 5/8in. nitro reproved barrels with 7mm ventilated matt top-rib, 2 3/4in. chambers, bored approx. 1/2 and full choke, three-piece fore-end, Italian made quadruple-grip action (by Abbiatico & Salvinelli) with side-bolsters, manual safety with gold-inlaid 'SAFE' detail, beaded border engraving with bold acanthus scrollwork, the triggerplate signed 'CASBARD', bright finish, 15 3/8in. pistolgrip stock including 3/4in. ebonite extension, weight 8lb. 3oz.
