* A 6.5x53mmR (DUTCH) MANNLICHER M95 BOLT-ACTION SERVICE RIFLE SIGNED HEMBRUG, serial no. 8155JJ,
dated for 1917, with partially exposed 32in. barrel, raised dove-tailed fore-sight, elevating rear-sight, rounded receiver signed 'HEMBRUG' together with the date, charger cut-out, straight handled bolt (miss-matched number), flag safe to rear, walnut three-quarter stock with inlet repair forward of the central butt (probably from a previous sling fitting), a roundel stamped with a crown and intertwined 'V.V's', wooden handguard around the rear-sight, iron furniture including integral magazine housing, single barrel band and nose-cap (cleaning rod absent), fitted with a possibly period leather sling
