for 1918/19, with 5in. barrel, reblued slide with make, model and patent dates to 1913 (mild pitting below finish), reblued frame with British Ordnance marks and stamped 'R.A.F.', original smooth mainspring housing, beavertail, hammer and safe, chequered walnut grips and correct magazine marked 'CAL .455 ELEY', the base-plate fitted with a lanyard loop, finish thinned and faded
